Organizational Analyst (Project Controls Specialist) Job in Toronto M5A 3A1, Ontario Canada

IKO Industries Ltd. is a global leader in manufacturing roofing products with production facilities worldwide. We are currently seeking a Controls Specialist to join our team of skilled professionals based at IKO’s head office in Toronto, Ontario.

 

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Organizational Analyst will:

 

-Collect and organize information to document and validate current business processes, recommending changes to improve overall control and efficiency

-Analyze organizational structure, responsibilities, teamwork, capabilities, business or operating procedures, processes, and workflow to devise most efficient methods of accomplishing work

-Manage changes to processes, including analyzing effects on internal controls, obtaining management approval, and documenting changes

-Identify, assess, control and mitigate risk, developing value added recommendations for corrective actions

-Perform detailed organizational analysis to identify internal disconnects or inefficiencies that have arisen, and then develop strategies for dealing with them

-Review and update existing documentation on standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various business processes as required, and create new documentation where none exists

-Other projects relating to processes and systems as required

 

The successful candidate will possess:

 

-University degree preferably in business, accounting or finance

-Professional accounting designation (CA/CMA/CGA)

-2 to 3 years of internal or external audit experience

-Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), with the ability to effectively work with others in a team environment

-Demonstrated business acumen, including ability to analyze strategic requirements, create innovative solutions, and develop action plans

-Excellent organizational skills in order to manage multiple priorities and complete projects in a timely manner

-Demonstrated initiative and the ability to handle complex assignments with a proactive attitude

-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
