Please note - This is a long-term supplemental position with IBM Global Business Services.

Individual (Deployment Liaison) must be skilled in organizational change management or transition support services for a large information technology system implementation. Liaison will validate and coordinate tasks across four primary areas: functional readiness, technical readiness, user readiness, and site readiness in preparation for, and during, the statewide deployment of the SAP HR system called MyCalPAYS.

Functional Readiness includes collection of data not available in legacy systems and the cleansing of data in legacy systems prior to the transformation and loading into the SAP HR System. Also includes participation in various system testing activities;
Technical Readiness includes changes required to the department's information technology infrastructure, installation of software, interface development and conversion testing;
User Readiness includes organizational change management, communications, and training;
Site Readiness includes system cutover and post implementation support.

Liaison will oversee the use of departmental readiness tools, monitor departmental readiness in preparation for the Go-Live phase of each wave of the project deployment schedule, assist Project staff and departments in readiness activities and cutover tasks, and report on departmental readiness for cut-over/implementation. Tasks to be performed by the liaisons include, but are not limited to:

Coordinating communications between the project and departments.
Assisting departments with the interpretation and application of new/changing business processes and procedures.
Assisting departments with information technology assessment and modification recommendation.
Assisting departments in identifying and assigning staff and security roles.
Assisting departments with enrollments for required training.
Assisting with and performing departmental data collection and cleansing.
Monitoring progress of detailed cut over activities, including verification of converted data.
Providing post go-live departmental monitoring and support.

Experience used to meet these requirements for all proposed staff must have been gained within the last ten (10) years of the proposed start date of the resource. Candidates must be able to provide project references for each of these requirements, including reference contact name, e-mail, and phone number, start and end dates, description of the system implementation, and the candidate's duties and responsibilities. The same project may be used to meet both requirements.
