Position Requirements:
Fitch Ratings is seeking an Analyst to work with the Operational Risk Group. Primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining programs to support this group, which will require the ability to build a strong understanding of the Operational Risk Group's (ORG) needs and processes; coordinating with users to establish objectives and scope to meet project needs; a thorough understanding of all tasks and skills necessary to develop systems (Microsoft Excel and Access) to aid in the efficiency and effectiveness of ORG goals; successfully maintaining all current systems used for data management and reporting purposes; and enhancing the current systems to align with user's ongoing initiatives and modifications.

Candidate must have application development experience using Excel and Access, strong leadership qualities with proven communication ability in both oral and written forms, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently to complete tasks, ability to work with all level of management and analysts, and have a working knowledge of financial services. Experience with relational database theory and design, proficient knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft VBA for MS Access and Excel required, knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) considered a positive, but not required. Some travel may be required.
