Orthopedic Medical Device Sales Representative Job in Indianapolis, Indiana Us

Requirements: 

·         College Degree preferred

·         4 plus years of proven sales achievements quota attainment

·         Ideal candidate will have either O.R. experience or Pharmaceutical / Med Device experience.

·         Proven track record of high performance results from previous employers

·         3 references

·         Mechanical aptitude a plus

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:  

·         Self-starter who will manage a sales territory to quota achievement

·         Responsible for managing a hospital territory by selling servicing Orthopedic implants

·         Complete sales training on all Tornier products with passing grade on all exams  

·         Arranging appointments with doctors, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling;

·         Building and maintaining working relationships with Surgeons, Hospitals Staff

·         Manage logistics for all instrument sets pre post op

·         Manage medical device implant inventory corresponding hospital sales restocking orders

·         Conduct hospital in-services on all Tornier products

·         Conduct training labs for Surgeons on new products techniques

·         Secure P.O.s for all surgical cases

·         Manage Targets weekly surgical case coverage schedule

·         Work with hospital administration to secure long term favorable contract pricing

·         Planning work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables. This may involve working with the area sales team or discussing future targets with the area sales manager.

·         Keeping up with the latest product updates supplied by the company and interpreting, presenting and discussing these products with health professionals during presentations;

·         Monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products
