The Institutional Client Group (ICG) Operations Performance Measurement Analysis team is a global function, created to provide operational business intelligence on risk, performance and productivity across all Operations divisions including Securities Banking and Global Transaction Services. As a core component of OT's strategy, the department leverages best of breed technology to develop and deliver powerful metrics to senior management and the wider operations user group. The team leverages short term tactical solutions and long term strategic development to deliver operational risk efficiency reporting and analysis (e.g. Balance Sheet Exceptions Report, headcount analysis (e.g. Map Measure), Activity Based Costing (ABC) and various reporting automation initiatives including trade and transaction volumes MIS). The PMA Asia team coordinates all of the above for ICG Asia Pacific and also forms part of the Asia OT Risk Control structure
- Oversees timely production of reports and analysis in line with SLAs
- Personally reviews products, challenges integrity, interprets meaning, draws conclusions, voices observations and offers suggestions
- Understands the end-to-end production process
- Anticipates impact to others engages effected groups beyond direct remit
- Interprets information and provides value-add analysis to empower Ops managers to reduce risk and improve productivity
- Leads regular product reviews with key stakeholders
- Innovates and delivers new products, both tactical and strategic
- Ensures escalations are dealt with expeditiously
- Leads/participates in cross-team collaboration sessions, OT workshops to share objectives ('why'), agree approach ('how') determine optimal solution ('what')
- Ability to setup and manage team budgets
- Manages large scale projects, adhering to best practice project standards.

- Manages a team supporting PMA OT strategy
- Encourages 2-way communication through regular staff / management meetings
- Develops talent: Provides coaching training (formal and on-the-job), sets goals in line with PMA strategy, measures performance and provides regular feedback, ideally mentors at least one individual outside of own team
Qualifications:
- Strong Project, Program Management, People Management, Business Analysis skills with minimum 8+ years experience in Investment Banking Operations, ideally within the Business Intelligence realm with exposure to operational risk and control
- Senior Stakeholder management experience
- Global Project Management experience essential
- Understanding of Citi, it's products and services and OT's vision and strategy
Advanced proficiency in at least three of the following:
- Operations products and processes, including industry practices and regulatory environment
- Operations Control
- Financial accounting including expenses, B/S Basel II III
- Management accounting including activity based costing
- Project management and business analysis
- Business process re-engineering
- Relational Databases MIS systems
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build consensus. History of success working in a team environment.
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Quickly grasp and master new requirements and related knowledge
- Monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes
- Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers
- Ability to work independently, multi-task and take ownership of various parts of the project
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong understanding of Project management methodologies and tools
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio are essential -Working knowledge of data warehouse and B.I. tools essential
