OTC DCC Clearing Trade Support recruitment
OTC Client Clearing – Clearing Trade Support Group (CTSG)
Analyst/Associate
Background of CTSG
OTC Derivative Client Clearing (OTCDCC) Operations support the Firm’s clients alleging and clearing trades, managing their related portfolios' collateral and leveraging the breadth of services the Firm is providing. The Morgan Stanley Clearing offering spans across multiple Clearing Houses (LCH, ICE, CME, etc.) and across asset classes, in particular Fixed Income Derivatives. The OTCDCC Operations department is comprised of Client Service Group (CSG), Clearing Trade Support Group (CTSG), Onboarding and Clearing Project Group (CPG).
CTSG is responsible for timely and accurate trade capture, enrichment, confirmation and completion as well as monitoring the Clearing Books. CTSG looks after the Clearing Broker trade activity in production as well as trialling execution in order to help the Firm win new mandates in conjunction with CSG and Onboarding. CTSG partners with CPG and IT to design and deliver both strategic and tactical solutions for faster processing and better control around client clearing trades, and given the amount of change in this space, this is an important part of the role to help expand the Firm’s offering.
