OTC Derivatives and Collateral Business Analyst

Our client, a leading investment bank, currently seeks a OTC Derivatives and Collateral Business Analyst, to be based in London

The OTC Derivatives and Collateral Business Analyst will be responsible for:

-Ability to analyse and capture business requirements

-Strong knowledge of investment operation and fund administration processes and procedures

-Excellent interpersonal, communication reporting skills (Communication required with all stakeholders, users and team members, providing regular updates regarding progress and taking control of potential conflicts of interest and priorities between the global pricing team).

-Ability to create test plans as well as orchestrating and executing these plans in conjunction with IT and end users

-Awareness of business steps and checks that can be included in implementation planning

-Familiar with fundamentals of computing environment concepts and configuration, i.e. have a reasonable grasp of the underlying technology supporting the business.

-Be aware of relevant industry initiatives/developments in the area of OTC Derivatives

-Ability to identify project risks and issues which may impact planned deliveries

-Awareness of agile and waterfall project management methodologies

As such, the successful OTC Derivatives and Collateral Business Analyst will have the following skills and experience:

-Must have demonstrable knowledge of Collateral Management

-Types of Collateral, Collateral lifecycle management, Collateral call calculations, static data, CSA's

-Understanding of OTC instrument properties and valuation process.

-Relevant and up-to-date knowledge of market developments in the collateral management space, including an understanding of leading vendor offerings

-Previous project experience and familiarity with associated "tools" e.g. process mapping and functional requirements documentation.

-Experience in building and executing business-focused testing and migration strategies

-One major system implementation of a collateral solution

-Firm understanding of project delivery practices

-Must have good, structured analytical skills

-Strong problem solving skills and able to perform under pressure.
