OTC Derivatives Business Analyst (Vice President)
A London based Asset Servicer is looking for an OTC Derivatives Business Analyst to join their Change Management Group. This is a Vice President level role and my client is looking for a candidate who is able to challenge Senior Management where necessary, work with minimal supervision and present to internal and external stakeholders.
The Change Management Group supports Custody and Outsourcing activities across a range of OTC and ETD products. This area continues to be a growth area for my client and you would be joining a very successful and expanding team. The focus of this team is to provide a strategic change management consultancy service to the Derivatives Processing Division. Specifically:
-Act as initial point of contact for change requests, evaluate symptom vs root cause and take into account other change programmes occurring across the team
-Developing business cases for capital funding
-Performing an initial scoping and prioritising function before handing over to a project delivery team
-Proactively managing Sponsors and Stakeholders
-Work with senior management as a Derivatives SME and proactively keeping abreast of industry initiatives
-Work closely with internal technology teams and external vendors to plan and deliver roadmaps (i.e. MarkitSERV, Lombard Risk, Super Derivatives)
-Typical projects will include OTC Clearing, Regulatory Change and Operation Efficiencies
My client is looking for a candidate with an expertise in OTC Derivatives Processing in addition to a decent stint within a change management function. You should have in-depth knowledge and experience of the OTC trade flow (to include trade capture, lifecycle management, collateral management and clearing) having worked in a BAU function within this space. In addition you should have a strong change management skillset to include Business Analysis expertise in addition to experience of proactively managing stakeholders and sponsors, scoping and initiating projects and performing root cause analysis. We are ideally looking for candidates who have experience in the Fund/Asset Servicing industry or from the Buy Side, however we are happy to look at exception candidates from the Sell Side.
