They are seeking individuals with hands-on, extensive Clearing and OTC derivatives experience, particularly with specialist risk and middle office backgrounds, who will become responsible for effecting change as an individual and as part of an ever-growing specialist team, delivering world-class clearing initiatives and expert business advice to their clients.
To succeed, in this you will have a demonstrable track record of operating and/or influencing at senior levels as an SME or Senior Business Analyst / Consultant. You’ll have directly relevant experience in OTC derivatives (depth in rates, credit or FX) and Clearing, leading relevant initiatives in banking, asset management, exchange or clearing houses.
Through hands-on experience, you will have built up a good knowledge base around some of the core areas such as Margin Methodology, Default Management, Collateral, Trade Workflow, valuation curve building, compression affirmation. Experience of buy-side clearing from bank, CCP or client perspective will be valued. Of particularly interest will be people who have shown some evidence of thought leadership in issues around OTC Clearing and how these are impacted by rapidly evolving global regulation (Basel 3, Dodd Frank, EMIR etc.)
