The Global Operations teams are a client-service-driven organization whose talented and engaged team is dedicated to providing the most competitive services with the highest standards of ethics, quality and efficiency to our clients worldwide. The role is focusing on delivering high quality client services to those clients with OTC Derivative products.

Description

- Building and managing the OTC Derivatives Internal Valuation capability within the Asset Servicing Division; this capability is targeted to be a center of excellence and provide OTC Derivative Valuation strategies to other areas of the organization including but not limited to Capital Markets and QSR.

- Servicing a range of clients within the OTC space, the incumbent will be required to communicate with senior individuals on a regular basis and thus requires a confident, well spoken professional. Business level English language skills are essential.

- Sourcing the market data required to run the models on FiNCAD to produce OTC Derivative valuations while working with the Office of Data Management Group and the Corporate Sourcing Group.

- Maintenance of the OTC Derivative models.

- Quantitative capability to execute and alter models to maximize their performance.

- Ability to create and utilize bespoke models on exotic OTC Derivative instruments is advantageous, however the internal Quant team will create majority, the candidate must have the ability to understand the process behind fully.

- Ability to investigate price dispersion in the OTC Derivative market by testing underlying reference data, market data, and modeling assumptions.

Qualifications

Internal: Knowledge transfer to existing and future staff on the ability to read and understand the OTC Derivative contracts. Furthermore; the candidate will need to ensure that the translation of the contracts into reference data to be utilized by OTC Derivative models and troubleshoot where price dispersion exists in the market.

External: Ability to demonstrate our client's intellectual capital on OTC Derivatives modeling, and price validation.

Candidate will be responsible for communication with internal clients such as Investment Accounting, Hedge Fund Accounting, Mutual Fund Accounting and Custody. Incumbent will be responsible for staffing and training the offshore resources to support the OTC Derivative Valuations capability.

Ability to understand and comprehend our business and our client needs and will need an in depth knowledge of OTC Derivatives, their models and how they operate.

Experience

- Significant experience within OTC Derivatives and Valuations

- The ability to walk through and simplify quant models and derivative valuations models to both internal and external seniors

- As this is a newly created role, the experience level would be suited to those with 3-5 years direct experience in OTC valuations/client services. However all levels will be considered and expertise in the area will be highly regarded

- Degree educated or equivalent
