OTC Derivatives- Manager recruitment
Responsibilities-
Prospective and new clients
- Assist with and provide presentations to prospective clients of the GoOTC services and the portal as a GoOTC expert
- Provide support to Director on preparing responses on RFPs and due diligence as required
• Lead or assist in devising successful implementation plans for new clients and ensure any implementations take place on time, are executed to a high standard and progress reported to key stakeholders
• Work to build good relationships with key individuals at new client
Service provision
• Work to understand the GoOTC clients’ books of business
• Ensure you understand the clients, their motivations, approach and any key issues and match our service accordingly
• Work to build good relationships with key individuals at existing clients
• Work to ensure retention of all existing clients
- Provide ongoing and daily OTC derivatives operations expertise to existing staff to ensure that they are fully able to support their clients across all aspects of the derivatives trade lifecycle - trade support, settlements, collateral management, reconciliations and documentation
- Serve as a key point of escalation on matters and processes and resolve ad hoc client requests
- Manage requests from clients for changes to existing processes including drafting the BRD, dealing with the technology development team and working on costs
- Lead and support technical development projects for GoOTC clients
- Carry out activities and tasks for GoOTC clients as is required to achieve remarkable service standards
- Ensure all services are provided to clients in accordance with the contracts between us any service level agreements (or equivalent) and work to ensue KPIs are kept to a minimum
- Act as liaison between the client and the production team in India to ensure client satisfaction and work to build and maintain positive, effective relationships there
- Work closely with other departments within GlobeOp to ensure remarkable service for these clients including, Valuations, Sales, Fund Accounting, Operations and Technology
- Suggest and implement process improvements and utilize technology to improve efficiency and client satisfaction
• Document operational processes and improve controls within the OTC client service team work to assist Director in ensuring successful ISAE3402 / SSAE 16 annual reviews
Required Skills
Job skills/requirements include:
- University degree
- English speaking
- Experience in OTC operations or commensurate experience dealing with various OTC products including interest rate and credit derivatives
- Knowledge of the OTC Derivatives processing industry – ISDA, DTCC, MarkitWire, etc.
- Demonstrated track record of strong client service
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication
- Strong interpersonal and client service skills
- Must be a self-starter and able to consistently deliver results within strict timelines
- Project management experience
- Track record of successful OTC operation system design and implementation
- Good client relationship management experience
- Must have good experience of managing a team
- Pro active, helpful, effective, positive, excellent under pressure, confident and knowledgeable in the OTC field
