Outbound Marketing Senior Consultant Next Generation Computing Solutions Messaging
Next Generation Computing Solutions Messaging Manager: The Outbound Marketing Senior Consultant role is responsible for crafting and maintain narratives that showcase Dell’s value-add in solving customer challenges. In this position you will be responsible for connecting with Enterprise IT buyers and executives (VP/CIO) on both emotional and rational levels even in technology discussions. Successful stories illuminate why our enterprise solutions are their critical enabler for customers. Successful stories provide access and time for sales teams with customers.

Credible ideas make people believe. Emotional ideas make people act. The goal it is to develop content that helps move customers from the “awareness” to the “consideration” phase of the sales cycle.
You will be responsible for the creation of narratives that align across the Next Generation Computing Solutions (NGCS) teams (servers, virtualization solutions, workload solutions, cloud solutions) and that are applicable to all Dell business units (BUs). You will build and drive the strategic communications program for the next generation of initiative-focused enterprise solutions. To do so, you will work across highly-matrixed marketing groups to define and drive a plan that maximizes the internal and external impact of emerging thought leadership and strategic vision messaging through the power of focus, coordination, consistency, and cadence. Core deliverables may include storyboards, message briefs, customer presentations, executive presentations, online content, training material and social media content.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strategic, coordinated communications plan and drive plan execution to increase industry awareness and increase positive perception of Dell as an enterprise solutions provider
- Drive participation and positive results in key analyst research, industry events, and press activity
- Develop a strong understanding of Dell Next Generation Computing Solutions sufficient to work efficiently and effectively across the organization
- Working in collaborative setting to influence and define marketing strategies
- Drive best practices for communication planning and execution across multiple internal organizations
- Work with subject matter experts to develop, benefits focused, evidence-driven and solution level messages to create full stories ready to be used in marketing campaigns and sales enablement
- Align with the strategy / solutions teams to craft stories that position Dell as a thought leader in solving customer IT challenges
- Develop, maintain, and interlock globally with stake holders to deliver the Next Generation Computing Solutions story architecture
