Job Duties and Responsibilities

·         Aggressively identifies prospective customers by phone and on-site visits. Plans effective strategies to capture new business across the region. Proven ability to generate new sales.

·         Determine customer requirements and expectations for both current and prospective customers in order to recommend specific products and solutions. Provides product quotes to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

·         Provide inside customer service and sales.  Generate repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner.

·         Ability to conduct sales presentations of company products or services while on site. 

Skills and Qualifications

·         Excellent customer service skills; proactive customer engagement approach; strong written and verbal communication skills.

·         Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills.

·         Strong working knowledge of products and services. Keeps up to date on knowledge of new products, procedures, services and tools. Effective presentation skills.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Education and Experience:

·         B.S. degree in business or technical curriculum preferred

·         Minimum of three (3) years experience in an Outside sales role.

·         Minimum of five (5) years experience in Inside Sales/Customer Service experience.

·         Knowledge of wire rope, crane cable, rigging, construction or related industry required.

·         Demonstrated track record of effectively developing business relationships in sales region (approx 80-mile radius).
