Outside Sales Representative Job in Boston, Massachusetts US

Company Overview:

Celebrating 50 years in business, McGill Hose is looking to continue growing. We're looking for a strong industrial sales person to develop customer relationships across a variety of market segments. This particular region, which we refer to as "North Shore" has a lot of potential with many exisiting accounts as well as the opportunity to bring McGill Hose to accounts that haven't had the pleasure of our service and product expertise.

In addition, we have a local branch office to help support this effort!

Overall responsibility:

Travel to our Eastern Mass / North Shore / NH  customers to provide product application knowledge while generating material and service sales revenue.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

Schedule appointments to meet prospective and existing customers.
Generate sales revenue.
Generate new sales opportunity leads.
Enter customer quotes and orders as needed to provide customers with up to date product pricing, specifications, and lead times.

Manage customer contacts and log sales calls in an ERP system.

Work with inside sales to ensure customer transactions are input into the ERP system.


Qualifications:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

3+ years sales experience preferred.

Reliable transportation required.

An ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who possesses excellent time management skills and enjoys building and maintaining profitable customer relationships.
