ACCOUNT MANAGER PROFILE:
This position will generate and develop new customer accounts and opportunities. Expected to follow complete sales cycle through completion. Will manage projects and act as primary customer contact to successfully quote, close and support accounts. Work with the Sales Manager to execute sales and marketing programs, support trade shows, and most importantly develop new growth opportunities. Duties include the following:
- Prospect for and develop new accounts and projects
- Effectively manage new projects from quote to delivery
- Update and maintain accurate database of customer activities
- Respond to customer needs in an enthusiastic and timely manner
The ideal candidate shall be an effective communicator, exercise sound judgment, and demonstrate initiative and independence.
Requirements
- Requires Associates Degree in Marketing, Business, or Technology
- Requires 4+ years outside sales experience
- Requires 2+ years experience with an electronic manufacturing company
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and instrumentation applications
- Experience must include in depth business PC, Word, Excel, and contact management
- Able to read schematics and specifications.
