Overnight Shift Trade Clearing and Settlements Generalist recruitment
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will need to fully understand the settlement processes for a wide variety of assets and derivatives, and be well versed with the appropriate paths to reconcile trade breaks.
The position reports to the Manager of Middle Office Operations and will be the primary interface for the night shift traders. The typical office environment requires meeting daily deadlines under pressure and requires the capability to extend or amend working hours frequently and spontaneously. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
• Monitor multiple restricted lists.
• Get approval from Clients for stocks on their restricted list.
• Locate Asian stock loans.
• Keep records of borrowing/financing costs.
• Alert traders of any upcoming recall risk.
• Monitor FX maturity report for fixing/rolls.
• Setup any new securities in TRM
• Entering trade details into TRM.
• Verify, confirm, and process trades for overnight trades.
• Reconciling positions with counterparties on a periodic basis.
Desired Skills Experience:
- WSS product experience, preferably TRM
- 3+ years of settlements and clearing experience in the financial services industry working with derivatives, exchange traded and structured products a must;
• Strong computer skills;
• Multi product risk knowledge.
• Product Control and system flows experience.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to perform independent analysis requiring strict attention to details;
• Have strong problem solving skills;

• Strong time management skill;
