Job Summary : The job of "package handler" is physical in nature and consists primarily of loading or unloading small packages. Compensation and Benefits: Three pay increases within the first six months of employment Tuition assistance Career advancement opportunity Weekly paycheck/direct deposit ConSern Education Loan program Essential Functions : Work assignments can include lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling packages up to 100 pounds in weight, and up to 150 pounds with a helper in a standing position. All package handling is done manually, without the use of fork trucks, pallet jacks or other mechanized equipment. "Hand-to-surface" methods are mandatory. Minimum Education : Must be 18 years of age Must not be enrolled in high school Must be able to pass a criminal background check Must be able to pass a drug test, where applicable Must complete a sort observation Individuals will not be able to apply on-line and must complete a sort observation prior to applying for a position.
