This position is located in Holland, Michigan at the JCIM Southview Facility.
 
This position is on a premium shift.
 
 Responsibilities
 
·       Ensure that all paint equipment work areas are clean and free from safety hazards.
·       Ensure that all paint equipment is operational, functioning properly, and optimized at all times.
·       Perform troubleshooting and all minor maintenance on paint systems.
·       Monitor all paint equipment daily per startup and shutdown procedures, ODS, checklists and PMs as required.
·       Programming of all paint robots.
·       Knowledge of all other paint roles and responsibilities.
·       Monitor product quality and process control parameters per operating instructions and control plans. Make adjustments and document as required.
·       Ensure that all records per product control plan are up to date and accurate.
·       Make provisions to ensure that all PM’s on the paint equipment are completed in a timely manner. Initiate corrective action for any shortcomings.
·       Waste handling of paint waste as required. Ensure proper disposal of chemical waste material as per documented environmental waste management procedures.
·       Ensure that the paint storage room and paint kitchen room remains clean and organized, that all waste material is segregated and that any spills or clean up efforts are immediately reported to the ERT team.
·       Assist in developing control plans PFMEA’s for all new programs.
·       Coordinate team and assist during production line changes including hard tool changes, process parameter changes, and material change over.
·       Assist Team Leader in daily production coordination as required.
·       Mentor team members in first level process troubleshooting per product control plans/PFMEAs, startup/shutdown procedures, ODSs, checklists and PMs as required.
·       Facilitate communication between shift Technicians regarding process improvements and troubleshooting activities.
·       Key Measures for this role include, but are not limited to: STOP audits, on-time shift startup, first run yield, line efficiency, PM completion rate, documentation accuracy per internal/external BOS audits, and tool change times.
·       Occasional movement of product with hilo.

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma with at least 2 year of JCI or automotive related experience.
Language Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 
Other Skills and Abilities:
Strong analytical skills. Ability to troubleshoot product quality/process/paint issues, interpret data and problem solve. Basic computer skills with general understanding of software programs (Word, Excel, etc.).  Robotics Programming of Fanuc Robots.  Troubleshoot and maintenance of Fanuc Robots.  Understanding of JCMS manufacturing Tools.
