Eaton Corporation located in Worcester, MA has an opening for a second shift Painter I. The selected candidate will load and unload products onto and off of paint conveyor. Ensure proper part flow, sequence and quality to meet assembly line and customer requirements. Hang parts and kits on paint line in sequence according to direction from planning and scheduling department. May be assigned to various hang-on or take-off positions. Responsible for ensuring completed parts meet Eaton’s quality standards before delivery to assembly operations. May deliver parts to proper staging areas. Ensure paint is applied uniformly in paint booth. Manually apply and touch-up products. Load and unload Bake-off furnace for powder hooks. Clean and fix Bake-off furnace. Load part kits in proper carts before delivery and ensure inclusion of correct paperwork.
The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Detect defective material and report and return imperfections.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations including personal protective equipment and continually identify and improve unsafe conditions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Operate hand truck to move materials.
Position Criteria:
• Ability to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions.
• Ability to use ordinary arithmetic.
• Must be able to use judgment to plan and perform a sequence of operations within limits of standard methods.

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Must be able to lift parts up to 50 pounds.
