BUSSERS
Job Description (includes but is not limited to):
- Assist waitstaff in providing high quality, prompt and friendly service to customers, especially clearing and setting tables.
- Ensures all table linen, silverware, glassware and table decorations are clean and in good repair, replace as needed and alert management to any damage.
- Prepare and serve ice-water and hot tea to customers as soon as the party is seated.
- Respond promptly to all customer requests.
HOST/HOSTESS
Job Description (includes but is not limited to):
- Greet and welcome customers promptly and warmly; provide menus and seat the customer's party, using good judgement to ensure stations are balanced.
- Answer immediate questiosn about the menu, beverages, etc. and accommodate any special seating needs.
- Answer telephone, take messages, take confirm reservations, pre-plan seating for balanced stations and take "to-go" orders
- Respond to any customer requests or complaints, fetching the assigned wait staff or manager as appropriate.
SERVERS
Job Description (includes but is not limited to):
- Provide customers with high quality, prompt and friendly service in all phases of the dining experience.
- Provide customers with accurate information about our cuisine, desserts, wine bar list.
- Work with kitchen staff to meet any special requirements for ingredients and preparation of food.
- Greet customers and take food and beverage orders, making recommendations or answering questions as needed.
Requirements
- High school graduate
- Restaurant experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multi task under pressure
- Able to lift up to 50lbs to shoulder level on a repetitive basis; carry large tray and stand in safe manner
- Work without sitting for up to 5 hours
- Remember instructions without visual aids
- Follow instructions accurately without close supervision
