Assist attorneys in the defense of lawsuits. Preparation of pleadings, motions, conducting discovery including obtaining records and reviewing documents, interviewing clients, preparing trial materials, conduct legal research; all while under the direction and supervision of a licensed attorney. Possesses communications skills necessary to interact with clients, claims partners and outside vendors. Monitors and maintains compliance with Team Connect (Litigation Management System). Demonstrates knowledge in a specialty and is given multiple work assignments for handling. Responsible for semi-routine problems requiring an established set of guidelines for resolution. Management guidance provided.
