Paralegal Executive recruitment
Responsibilities
- Oversee and follow-up on intellectual property matters including:
- Review trademark watch queries raised by external counsel, making recommendations to marketing manager
- Liaise with marketing and sales team to collate marketing materials and sales figures
- Monitor new application and expiry/renewal of product and corporate trademarks, liaise with external counsel on Power of Attorneys required and declaration of use
- Prepare, monitor and administer Business Group standard template agreements such as NDA/Confidentiality Undertaking, Supply Agreement, Inter-co Management/Services Agreements, Inter-co Fee Agreements, Interest rate variation agreements and Barging Agreements
- Prepare annual agreements to be signed off between various managements
- Generate standard drafts, circulate to various stakeholders for comments, check with Legal Counsel on proposed amendments, arrange for checklist approval and circulate for signature/approval
- Liaise with Corporate for contract filing and updating of legal databases
Requirement
- Diploma in Law preferable
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the same field
- Good communication skills both spoken and written in English, Bahasa Indonesia Chinese would be a distinct advantage
- Resilient, driven, motivated individual and able to operate independently and under pressure
- Excellent organizational, time-management and follow-up skills with good attention to details
- Must be able to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, discretion and integrity
- Familiarity with corporate secretarial processes, constitutional documents of business entities, trademarks, power of attorneys, corporate / commercial matters
- Highly proficient in MS Office applications with a good grasp of processing tools and Sharepoint portal
