Our client is looking for a Paralegal to join a company that acts as an information provider to law firms and blue chip organisations alike, via a respected web portal.

Based in both London and New York they can call on many of the world's leading law firms as clients and have built up an enviable reputation for being innovative, accurate, timely and practical: they pride themselves on not just being a reproducer of material that is readily available.

Their success to date is a result of hiring talented people and continued growth means they need to do this again with the appointment of a Paralegal.

Taking responsibility for either Pensions or Corporate, you will support the work of the editors of the services. The services consist of continually maintained online databases of practice notes, standard documents and other materials, together with weekly and monthly email updates. As a Paralegal, you will be responsible for the daily online monitoring of case law and legislative developments in the relevant field; proof-reading; summarising; writing short items for the website, maintenance of the site content and general administration duties. For the Pensions role you will assist with research for feedback questions.

Whilst no specific work experience is required, it would be advantageous if you have some legal work experience, either in a previous paralegal role or through vacation placements. However, it is essential that you:

- Have completed the LPC or the BVC.
- Degree educated with a classification of at least a 2:1.
- Possess 3 A-levels (or equivalent) with grades A-C giving a minimum of 300 UCAS points.

You will have with the ability to assimilate complex information as well as being a quick learner - you will also demonstrate excellent communication skills and understand the value of teamwork.

Organisation, prioritisation and motivation skills are a must as is being able to work well under pressure and demonstrating a high level of attention to detail.
