Paralegal/Legal Associate for tier one Asset Manager recruitment
My client has been trading for over 40 years, and is now recognised as one of the leading investment management firms globally with over 1 trillion of assets under management.
The position will be based within the European legal team, which provides legal support to the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) teams. The role is based in London (City), where you will be working with a small, but very experienced team of lawyers and legal associates and report /work closely with general council.
This position has come to light because my client have recently started distributing their own products, so the role will primarily focused on negotiating key contractual documentation with their clients and distribution partners.
Key responsibilities:
- Negotiation of investment agreements
- Acting as an expert point of contact for the client and take-on process
- Negotiation of distribution agreements and their fund related agreements
- Coordination of processes with key stakeholders including client facing teams, funds teams, business management, service providers and outside council.
The role would suit someone with a solid Legal academic background with some (1 to 3 years) commercial experience of working in a paralegal/associate role.
