Paramedic
Certification Required - 3 relief positions are available
Summary: Provides pre-hospital life support care, and ambulance transportation of persons who are ill or injured as authorized and directed by a physician.
Requirements: High school graduate / GED or equivalent learning experience. Satisfactory completion of Work Steps evaluation prior to hire. Must have a current Colorado EMT-P certification at the time of hire. NREMT-P certification preferred. BLS and ACLS required. For new hires and transferring employees, certification will be obtained during orientation if necessary. Valid driver's license required. Must be 21 years old to qualify for PVHS auto insurance coverage. Signed PVHS Driver Agreement required. If establishing residency, must acquire Colorado driver's license within 30 days pursuant to Colorado state law. Ability to perform all skills and procedures outlined by above licenses and certifications.
