My client is a well established Financial Planning firm based within Aberdeen who are looking to recruit an experienced Para planner to join their branch. This rare part time job has arisen due to their Financial Advisers requiring further support during a period of growth.
Within the role you will be working with their WRAP platform, buying/selling client investments with it, preparing client investment portfolios using various asset classes and undertaking detailed research to support the recommendations given on funds. Working alongside the Financial Planner, you will communicate to them any information necessary for them to make more complex fund purchases and investment changes. Along with this you will be rebalancing client's portfolios and analysing profiles and complete calculations as required. There will also be cash flow forecasting duties to be undertaken as will letter and report writing for your customers and clients.
The ideal candidate will be a experienced Financial Services professional, comfortable working within a close knit team who pride themselves in the service provided to customers. You will ideally have some of your financial exams or be studying towards them. You will require excellent numerical skills and have excellent written and software skills. Experience in researching documents on taxation, state benefits and investment fund details would also be beneficial. Excellent organisational and analytical skills are vital with the ability and flexibility to work to strict deadlines.
