Description
Under the direction of the Rehabilitation Services Program Director, the Parent Coordinator (PC) provides direct services to the parents of child and adolescent individuals in accordance with their rehabilitation plans as part of their Developmental Rehabilitation. Parent Coordinators work 1:1 with individuals as requested and in small groups. Parent Coordinators also provide coordination work; attend individual-focused team meetings and staff meetings; participate in developing rehabilitation plans; and carry out special projects under the direction of the program director. In addition, supports the Building Bridges Program to improve access to, and coordination of, mental health services for families with children ages two through six in the city of Quincy. Must be willing to travel to hospitals, outside agency sites, community schools, etc. throughout the South Shore and Eastern Massachusetts. Must be able to provide safe transportation to individuals throughout our service area.
Required Skills
- BA or BS preferred
Required Experience
- Previous experience with troubled children or teenagers.
- Valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle.
