Part Marker - Stockroom (3rd Shift) Tracking Code 2012-010 Job Description Job Summary: The following describes in general terms the purpose and scope of the position. Marks identification on all parts as well as pulling parts from stock and preparing them for shipment. Essential Functions: The following description has been provided as examples of the types of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification. Each job function will be conducted within the quality standards described in the Quality Policy and Safety Rules. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Part marks and identifies all parts per work order and/or customer specifications; attention to details is a must. * Packages parts for stock and/or shipment. * Closes out work orders as needed. * Maintains stockroom. * Prepares parts for shipment; i.e. Pull items from daily lists, validate counts, assemble wooden and cardboard boxes. * Insert parts into shipping containers with the proper paperwork and proper labels. * Maintains and executes daily cycle counts in finished goods warehouse. * Maintains a clean work area/environment (5s). * Operates forklift and/or uses hand-truck to move parts to stock and distribute items as needed. * Performs other duties and assignments as directed. Required Skills Basic Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. * Ability to operate a forklift * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mylars (preferred). * Read and understand internal procedures and policies. * Understand and follow through on both verbal and written instructions * Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.
