Part Qualified Accountant recruitment
Part Qualified Accountant required for a permanent role in Dublin 2. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly motivated and ambitious to progress within the company as ad-hoc projects and further responsibility will be entrusted to the successful candidate in due course.
Responsibilities will include:
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Cash Bank
- Fixed Assets
- Preparation of work papers, journals, accruals schedules and depreciation for month end reporting
- Preparation of suspense account reconciliations and GL reconciliations for month end reporting
- Month end and Year end close off of systems
- Preparation of the month end file for management sign off
- Preparation of trading analysis report for the management team after month end
- Preparation of bi-monthly VAT returns VIES returns
Competencies/Experience:
- Professional III/ CAP II or ACCA equivalent qualification
- Previous industry experience would be preferable
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively
- Understands key financial measurements and the importance of strong internal controls
- Previous experience of revenue filings an advantage
- A good degree of IT literacy including familiarity with excel
- Previous knowledge of SAGE, STRATA and/ or Oracle is an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
