One of the foremost property development companies in London, my client is looking to recruit a Part Time Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable Clerk to work a 3 day week (Monday, Tuesday Wednesday) in a job share with another Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk.
The role reports in to the Financial Reporting Controller and is responsible for providing accounts payable / purchase ledger services for the Group.
Key responsibilities include registering, circulating and inputting purchase invoices; checking documentation, authorisation and signatures; liaising with off site teams and ensuring proper and timely filing of documents; dealing with day to day internal/external purchase ledger queries and assisting with the payment processes as requested.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Accounts Payable ledger and payment cycles and systems, and experience at dealing with internal and external queries.
This role requires an organised individual with excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Applicants must be well presented, self starting and confident to suggest improvements where necessary to current processes.
Applicants must be Excel literate and experience in Agresso Business World would be an advantage but is not essential.
The working days for this role are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and this is not negotiable.
