Part-Time Assistant Accountant

I am currently recruiting for a Part-Time Assistant Accountant position to cover maternity leave in Sheffield. 
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is AAT qualified or equivalent to work for a great company in South Yorkshire. 
The role will be working 25 hours per week and will be flexible on days. 

You will be providing support for the Finance Manager in the production of accurate and timely monthly accounts, hourly and salaried monthly payroll, and other financial tasks as required.

You MUST be immediately available and have previous experience to be considered for this position.

Duties will include; Payroll - monthly payroll processing including calculating SSP, SMP, NI etc
Preparation of monthly management accounts to trial balance
Prepayments and accruals
Balance sheet nominal account reconciliations
Cash and bank reconciliations
Regularly review the sales and purchase ledgers for overdue amounts and any other issues that require addressing
Check the raising of and posting of sales invoices and statements
