About our client
Our client is a leading boutique private equity placement agent and raises capital for a number of leading funds and institutions. It is a young business and is now looking to formalise and streamline its compliance practices.
Responsibilities
- You will advise the business on all applicable regulatory obligations, regulatory developments and suitable procedures required to ensure compliance with these obligations
- You’ll lead the implementation of monitoring programmes to ensure business is conducted in compliance with all relevant regulatory obligations. You will manage relationships with regulatory bodies in the UK and the US. You will also be responsible for anti-money laundering and KYC matters
Skills we’re looking for
- Compliance experience from working within an international financial institution
- Good working knowledge of the UK regulatory and controlling structures and familiarity with other jurisdictions including US
- Strong academic background and relevant compliance qualifications
