Part Time Customer Service -   Cuyahoga Falls, OH

Hours: Monday to Friday, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Customer Service Associate interacts with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests.

 

Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned:

§         Communicate with customers either by telephone and or email.

§         Respond promptly to customer inquiries.

§         Research and resolve customer questions and concerns.

§         Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.

§         Follow up on customer interactions.

§         Perform administrative duties in relationship to rates, quotes, and customer contracts.

§         Provide support for Account Executives in response to customer’s needs and concerns.

§         Traces freight for customers.

§         Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

Receives very general guidance with respect to overall objectives; operates within department policy guidelines using independent judgment in achieving assigned objectives.

·         Education/Experience Skills: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months’ related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·         Language Skills: Relies on written and verbal communication.

o       Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, policies and procedures.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, supervisors or employees of the organization.

o       Communicates internally with Customer Service and OSD, and externally with terminals, Roadrunner salespeople and agent interlines.
