Part Time Freight Handlers Needed
Second Shift
Our Nashville, TN terminal is looking for fork lift drivers to be responsible to safely move palletized freight into and out of trailers and install dunnage to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
The qualifications and requirements listed below are the minimum knowledge, skills and ability required to satisfactorily perform the functions of this position.
· Experience operating a fork lift.
· Able to lift 100 pounds from floor to above shoulder height.
· Knowledge and comprehension of all state two letter abbreviations.
· Able to read work orders written in English.
· Must follow oral instructions.
· Able to safely move palletized freight from the dock area or trailers to designated area.
· Able to secure lifting attachments to odd shaped freight to safely move the load.
· Able to attach identifying tags or labels to the freight.
· Able to ingress, egress, and sit in an industrial fork lift.
· Able to stack and un-stack freight onto or off a pallet.
· Able to load and unload freight above shoulder height.
· Able to wrap freight in shrink wrap.
