Part-Time Financial Analyst

This prestigious hedge fund based in Mayfair is looking to recruit an experiences Financial Analyst to work on a Permanent, Part-Time basis. The hours required to work are Monday to Friday 10.00 am - 2.00 pm  so this would really suit someone with children at either nursery or school.

The core of the role is to support to Head of the department with the production of the AUM reports,  therefore strong analytical, reporting and excel skills are essential as well as an extremely professional manor and ability to communicate and present.

Key Responsibilities:
Extraction collation of information from the database to compile AUM (Assets Under Management) reporting on a bi-monthly basis preparation of the AUM reporting
Analysis of AUM into various components for management reporting
Reconciliation of AUM flows, FX performance
Extraction of fee information from the database on a bi-monthly basis for input into the Excel reporting package
Analysis of fee information in terms of key profitability ratios and review for reasonableness
NAV (Net Asset Value) analysis for a monthly audit control
Assist with the preparation of the 4 x monthly performance reporting
Assist with the preparation of the bi-monthly financial reporting package
Assist with the preparation of AUM flow information for the monthly sales reporting
Support manager with other ad hoc reporting requirements

Key Skills and experience:
Accounting background (qualified by experience or early stages ACCA/CIMA/AAT)
Methodical with a good attention to detail
Good analytical skills
Good technical understanding of Excel (pivot tables, graphs, lookups)
Ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise work flow with minimal supervision
Problem solving ability
Strong communication skills – verbally and written
Ability to multitask while maintaining a flexible approach
Work experience in Financial Services (preferred but not essential)
Knowledge of Access Crystal reports would be beneficial
