Part Time Money Sales and Service Assistant Job in Bristol Bs34 5Qt, South West Uk

At MS Money, we know what customers expect. So that is why we want to go much, much further and give them an in-store experience that’s better than they’ll find anywhere else. You’ll be engaging directly with customers and acting as the face of MS Money in store, whilst at the same time sticking to the core values of Marks and Spencer – Quality, Value, Service, Innovation and Trust

About us

Established in 1985, MS Money has evolved into a major player in the financial services market and in 2004 became part of HSBC, one of the world’s largest banking and financial services organisations. We now provide a wide range of quality products designed to meet the diverse needs of our customers, covering Investments, Insurance, Savings and Travel Money as well the MS Money Credit Card and Premium Club. Working together, MS Money, HSBC and Marks Spencer are uniquely positioned to provide quality financial services products to MS customers in line with our policy of Make Better Products, Sell them Properly, Keep them Sold.

About the role

Our Money Sales Service Assistants work on the shop floor of a large MS store or a number of smaller MS stores, engaging directly with customers and acting as the face of MS Money in store. As well as delivering the excellent service standards MS customers have come to expect from us, we’ll be looking to you to spot sales opportunities by approaching customers and identifying which of our quality products and services best suit their needs.

Of course, you will have sales targets to meet. However, with impressive products behind you such as the MS Money Credit Card and Premium Club, you really will have some great financial products to offer customers in the stores.

About you

We’ll expect you to meet, and exceed, your customers’ expectations. That’s why the ease with which you talk to customers and your keen eye for a sales opportunity is more important to us than a background in financial services. Obviously, the ability to hit challenging individual and group targets is essential. But this will also be combined with a firm commitment to quality and learning how to work to clear financial regulations. Naturally helpful and outgoing, you’ll share our belief that nothing is too much trouble for customers and be eager to develop in a company that shares your values too. We’ll appreciate your flexible approach and willingness to travel within your local area. Above all, you’ll need to know how an MS customer thinks and be able to strike the perfect balance between delivering outstanding service, sparking customers’ interest and closing sales.

In return we will offer you the opportunity for personal and knowledge development as well as working with some great people in a truly iconic brand, one that believes in treating people fairly and backs it up with a rewards package that includes pension, life assurance, 20% MS discount card and a bonus scheme that recognises your contribution.
