Part Time Office & Finance Administrator
Temp to Perm. c.a 30 hours per week
A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Office Finance Administrator to join a long-standing charitable organisation in the Reading area.
This job is being offered on a temp to perm basis, with the candidate being taken on as a full member of the team after a qualifying period.
The successful candidate MUST have:
• Sage Line 50
• Book-keeping Level 2
• O Level/GCSE pass (grade C or above) in Maths and English
• MS Office proficiency
This is a comprehensive support role that involves both General Office and Financial Administration, so you will be required to have had experience of both.
Previous purchase and sales ledger experience is advantageous.
Office Administration
• Telephone/call/email handling
• Mail distribution
• Faxing, Scanning and Copying
• Electronic and paper filing
• Database maintenance
• Management of office supplies
• Processing new joiners/leavers
• Monitoring sickness absence
Finance Administration
• Checking and coding purchase invoices/credits into Sage
• Collating and preparing purchase invoices for payment
• Cheque handling
• Reconciliation of supplier statements against invoices paid
• Raising and sending invoices
• Entering sales invoicing
• Recording payments received on Sage
• Preparing and sending monthly customer statements
• Coding petty cash payments
• Weekly bank statement/Monthly bank reconciliations
• Processing timesheets calculating monthly pay/holiday entitlement
You will also be flexible on both hours and job role, happy to potentially take on grants administration responsibilities as required.
You will be a team player, with a can-do attitude towards work. You must be self-motivated with the ability to work alone on occasion.
This is a non-for-profit organisation, so experience within a similar environment is also an advantage.
There are limited kitchen facilities and parking is available on site.
