Position Summary
Under close supervision of the Quality Control Supervisor or other supervisory/management-level position within the Distribution Center, responsible for maintaining the integrity of customer orders, double checking the accuracy for the receiving and stocking of products to ensure that what is delivered to the customer is as accurate as possible. This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for printing and sorting customer invoices as well as price stickers.
- Responsible for the packing of invoices for shipping.
- Sorts all of the incoming mail.
- Removes totes from conveyor before scanning pick ticket and ultimately scans all items in tote.
- Monitors computer for some kind of indication in the event of an error.
- Notifies Supervisor of error after making correction to the respective customer order.
- Completes quality control task by closing tote and scanning for manifest.
- Complies with all safety requirements pertaining to job functions and general Distribution Center safety requirements.
- Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.
- Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.
- Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Experience and Education Requirements
Requires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires less than one (1) year of equivalent work experience.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements
- Ability to read and understand the English language for the purpose of reading product and address labels.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good mathematical skills
- Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
- Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.
- Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.
- Basic computer skills preferred
