Our office in Parssipany, NJ is growing and is looking for a part time Telephonic Medical Intake Coordinator to work the hours of 04:00 PM to 08:00 PM Monday through Friday.
The Intake Coordinator will facilitate the coordination of referrals and communications between Bayada Nurses' Service offices and multi-office accounts. Duties will include receiving and documenting incoming phone calls from referral services, ensuring referrals are thorough and complete, and following up with our service offices to ensure timely responses to referral sources.
You will function as a facilitator between Case Managers, Client Services Managers, Clinical Nurse Manager, and Field Nurses. The ability to cultivate positive and long-term relationships with referral sources is integral to success in this position. Sound clinical judgment is necessary in evaluating patients referred for treatment.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of clinical/medical intake experience as well as a Bachelor degree. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Previous experience in community health field or home health care agencyexprerience preferred. The candidate must be able to work Monday through Friday 04:00 PM EST to 08:00 PM EST on site at our Parsippany office.
