Partner – Investment Director recruitment
This leading private equity firm have substantial funds under management and a long established track record in the Asia Pacific region. They invest in businesses across a range of sectors and have a high calibre and experienced investment team.
As a Partner of the SE Asia Investment Team, he/she will have the following key deliverables:
- New business development and identification of new investment opportunities to maximize deal flow.
- Screening of new investment opportunities received to focus resources on a limited number of new investment opportunities that are considered to be the most attractive.
- Negotiation of investment terms and conditions that are appropriate in the circumstances to maximise both the investment returns and downside protection.
- Analysis and presentation of investment proposals in verbal and written format to give a clear picture of the merits and risks of each investment proposal.
- Assist with the management of external due diligence and legal documentation processes and the interaction with prospective portfolio companies and intermediaries to ensure smooth relationships.
- Monitoring the performance of portfolio companies, generate relevant and timely analysis of appropriate issues and contribute to value-add activities so as to create enhanced shareholder value for the funds managed.
- Achieve portfolio company realizations as appropriate to maximize investment returns.
We are seeking expressions of interest from candidates with 5+ years’ relevant private equity investment experience with focuses in the South East Asia markets, and prior experience within investment banking or strategy consulting will be highly regarded. You will be able to demonstrate a strong proven track record of success in the full cycle of PE investments within the SE Asia region. We envisage successful candidates will be highly driven with excellent relationship management and communication skills.
