Full Job Description

The remit of the role is as follows:

* Secondments and overseas employee appointments - liaison with HR

* Overseas partner staff

1. UK tax advice on leaving and returning to the UK, UK tax return preparation, following up PAYE refunds for firm under tax equalisation, 1st 12 month NIC liability.

2. Dealing with any local tax and social security obligations

* STBV (Short term business visitor) agreements

* Singapore partnership and individual tax compliance

* Paris partners' tax returns: providing profit and UK tax payment data

* French tax returns for UK partners

* Fee earner location review / maintenance

* Middle East tax review, deemed profit PE review

* SA Law

* Withholding tax issues - obtaining certificates from HMRC; Liaising with Credit Control

* Monitor non-resident guidance / news from HMRC
