PATENT ANALYST II
Performs a variety of law-related tasks under the direction of the organization's attorneys. Conducts legal research, drafts legal documents, monitors case schedules and filing deadlines. Drafts correspondence and pleadings. Summarizes dispositions, interrogatories and testimony. Assists attorneys in preparing and filing court papers and executes related tasks. Performs a variety of law-related tasks under the direction of the organization's intellectual property attorneys. With an emphasis on patent matters - conducts patent searches, drafts internal and external communications and documents, reviews invention disclosure forms, and works with outside counsel to determine patentability. Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or computer science or other bachelor's degree accompanied by technical experience sufficient to be eligible to take patent exam Registered patent agent or must take the patent exam within 6 months of hire date Telecommunications experience Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree and two years related work experience or six years related work experience post high school Two years experience working within the legal field Two years experience editing and proofreading legal documents Preferred Qualifications At Sprint, we're more than just talk.
