Patient Service Representative - Registration Job

Job Description: Make a professional and courteous lasting impression on patients and families that interact with Mayo Clinic Health System - Albert Lea. Responsible for the complete registration process with checking patients in, pre-registration, scheduling patients, making necessary follow up appointments and processing any ancillary test orders following processes and procedures set in place. Knowledgeable in regards to insurance and necessary paperwork for patients to ensure a positive experience for the patients. Value team work as well as support work setting to maintain systems and processes to benefit the internal and external customers. Basic Qualifications: High school graduate or the equivalent Other Qualifications: General secretarial experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledgeable in word-processing. Ability to type accurately on a standard typewriter or computer keyboard. Applicable vocation training. Switchboard experience helpful. Medical terminology helpful. Bilingual. CPR certified.
