Patient Services Advocate (Temporary) Job in San Marcos 92069, California US
Under the direction of the Vice President of Operations, the Patient Services Advocate will be responsible for completing all patient registration of migrant patients and other outreach activities, assist with health center billing activities and manage patient welcome packages and patient re-call database.
You will need effective verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. The ability to work with people of all social and ethnic backgrounds and within the constraints of government funded programs. You will need to work independently, take initiative, be proactive, prioritize and meet deadlines as well as have the ability to maintain a high standard of confidentiality.
Please note: This position is a temporary fill-in for an employee leave of absence. Some Saturday work is required.

Knowledge and Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance billing procedures including familiarity with ICD-9 and CPT codes required. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is required.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years experience as medical reception
