This Local Government organisation offers a range of services to a thriving community through the delivery and improvement of roads and traffic infrastructure to create a liveable city. This particular division is responsible for the implementation of a large portfolio of capital works including delivery, maintenance and preservation works.
Due to the ongoing maintenance to road infrastructure and the need for constant improvement an experienced Pavement Engineer is needed to ensure delivery of works.
The key facets of this role will see you providing health checks on existing pavements and drafting subsequent design solutions to the team for execution. As a degree qualified engineer you will be responsible for the management of pavement activities including pavement designs, evaluation, materials testing, structural analysis and advice on treatment alternatives as well as completing necessary reports.
You will possess significant design experience in accordance with local standards or have significant transferrable experience in a similar role as a Pavement Engineer.
