Position Summary:

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for completing weekly and bi-weekly payroll for production hourly and office employees.  Accuracy is a must in association with earnings and deductions.  Assists with special projects as needed.

 

Tools and Equipment Used:

Computer including: ADP System, E-time and Timetrak Time Attendance System, and Microsoft Office Products such as Excel and Word, Calculator.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Processes weekly and bi-weekly payroll.

·         ADP System, E-time and Timetrak data entry.

·         Maintain employee garnishments and tax levies records.

·         Maintains employee vacation and sick leave records.

·         Maintain personnel payroll files.

·         Sorts and distributes paychecks.

·         Prepares manual paychecks, wage statements and miscellaneous reports.

·         Assists employees on questions regarding their paychecks.

Requirements:

Requires a High School Diploma and two years of college or equivalent work experience. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills (bi-lingual Spanish strongly preferred), strong math skills and computer proficiency.

·         Strong knowledge of State and Federal Tax laws.

·         Must be organized and detail oriented, courteous, and outgoing.

·         Previous ADP, E-time and Timetrak experience.

·         High volume data entry and 10-key by touch is a must.

·         Proficient with Excel and Word.

·         Must be dependable with a good attendance track record.

·         Strong team player.

·         Must be willing and able to work with all levels of employees.

·         Must work well under pressure with ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality.
