Payroll Administrator Job in Stamford 06901, Connecticut US

Our client, a major corporation in the Stamford/Norwalk, CT area is seeking a Payroll Administrator.  The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast paced environment, have strong knowledge of Federal and State regulations and be responsible for processing payroll in multiple states.

Responsibilities:

·       Entering/transmitting data into ADP payroll system

·       Prepare Journal entry spreadsheets for multiple accounting depts.

·       Trouble shoot all E-Time (Time and Attendance) issues

·       Process necessary garnishments each pay cycle

·       Work with Finance Dept. from each company regarding transactions

·       Input information in EV5 Human Resources systems (new hires, transfers)

·       Prepare necessary documents for exiting employees

·       Process monthly health and ancillary invoices

Qualifications:

·       3-5 years processing multi-state payrolls using ADP system Enterprise environment a must.. Prefer previous EV5 version experience

·       Experience using ReportSmith

·       Strong attention to detail

·       Ability to streamline processes.

·       Strong computer experience using Excel, Word and databases.
