When you join our Payroll team as a Payroll Advisor you will work for the benefit of our members and customers.
Working within strict deadlines, you will provide technical expertise throughout the payroll cycle ensuring all controls and quality standards are adhered to.
Managing payroll processes, calculations and assisting in the resolution of complex queries, you will utilise your expertise to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the payroll function. Working within the team you will validate payroll results and offer guidance to other members of the team, using your up to date knowledge of payroll legislation. You will provide and analyse MI to identify process improvements and drive the payroll delivery forward.
By resolving issues efficiently and delivering great customer service you will ensure high colleague satisfaction at all times.
To do this successfully you will need to have the following skills and experience:
· Strong payroll technical and legislative knowledge
· Proven experience within a payroll team.
· Proven experience of ‘end-to-end’ payroll processing, including end of year requirements
· Good problem solving skills
· Excellent customer service skills demonstrating a clear understanding of customer needs
· Proven skills in dealing with difficult customer service situations
· Problem solving skills for resolution of complex queries
· Excellent communication skills both written and oral
· Good planning and organising skills, monitoring and prioritising own workload
· Excellent computer skills; excel, word
· Oracle payroll experience would be an advantage
