Payroll and HR Clerk

Due to internal restructure this large organisation based in Sheffield are looking for an experienced Payroll and HR Assistant. This is an ongoing temporary assignment with an immediate start required.

Responsible for timely completion of all new starter paperwork; issuing Contracts of Employment, ensuring return of information and inputting on to appropriate HR systems
Calculate and administer all Maternity, Sickness, Paternity related pay and correspondence
Administer and support the leaver process and procedure
Process all bonus payments, salary increments via the correct authorisation process
Ensure timely input of people data input to appropriate payroll / HR systems
Process monthly payroll for 1700 staff
Calculating ssp, smp, ni etc
ensure that the payroll interface files are transferred to payroll provider in the agreed format, within agreed timescales
Provide administrative support for Company reward and incentive schemes – including annual salary review process
Provide Administrative support for Company benefits – including pension, group life assurance, child care vouchers and Private medical insurance
Deal with queries for all new starters, changes, leavers, payroll etc.
Ensure new starter files are created and manual and online filing system is kept up to date
