Payroll and Stock Administration Specialist Job in Sunnyvale, California Us

Execuforce seeks Payroll/Stock Administration specialist on 3+ month contract basis (potential contract-hire).  The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

Responsibilities:
 
-Ensures payroll is processed timely and accurately using ADP.  Serves as liaison to employees and ADP to ensure payroll reflects company-specific pay policies and appropriate amounts/deductions are calculated and applied accurately.
-Tracks employee PTO usage and includes such data in each payroll cycle.
-Prepares payroll and accrued PTO entries in Oracle and provides reconciliation between general ledger and payroll reports.
-Prepares schedules to support workers compensation audits, 401K audits and other surveys/reports requiring employee payroll data.
-Handles employee inquiries related to pay and stock via phone or email in a timely and professional manner.
-Tracks mobile employees and provides reports as requested.
 -Has a thorough understanding of the variable compensation plans, gathers pertinent performance data from various sales and marketing managers and performs sales commission calculation on a quarterly basis.
-Ensures SOX documentation on payroll and stock administration are updated to reflect current process.
-Be the in-house coordinator for all stock option related activities.  Maintains employee stock database in EASi to ensure all option grants, exercises and terminations are captured in the database in a timely manner. 
-Processes employees option exercises and provides such data to external agent in a timely manner.
-Processes option grant documents to ensure timely communication of option grants to option grant recipients.
-Reconciles option data and prepares monthly and quarterly equity reports to support financial close, auditor requests and external filing requirements.
-Maintains and reconciles the capitalization table on a monthly basis.
  
Requirements:
-Five plus years of relevant payroll and stock administration experience.
-Bachelors Degree preferred, CEP Level 1 or higher preferred.
-Strong Excel and analytical skills; working knowledge of ADP, EASi and Oracle.
-Good understanding of stock-based compensation accounting.
-Professional awareness and ability to maintain confidentiality of pay and stock data.
